Perfomance Based Navigation / Required Navigation Performance / Area Navigation (Global Positioning System / Global Navigation Satellite System)

The implementation of routes according to the concept of performance-based navigation (PBN) allows the reduction of lateral and longitudinal separation between aircraft, resulting in benefits for operators, maintaining the high level of safety in operations. Among other advantages, we can mention a greater number of optimized routes, reduced flight time, reduced delays, greater flexibility of operations and lower fuel consumption.

OBJECTIVE:

Upon completion of this course, the pilot will be cognitively trained in relation to the operation and use of autonomous navigation systems – PBN, including en route flight and approaches, meeting the necessary conditions for his performance.

METHODOLOGY:

Theoretical classes.

DURATION:

4 hours.

CERTIFICATION:
The pilot receives a certificate after attending to 100% of the course.
