EPA Training Center is currently the only Type Rating Training Organization – Part 142 in the world that operates the EMB-110 simulator. The Full Flight Simulator is qualified as “Non-visual Simulator”.

Objective: The courses offered by EPA of EMB-110 are for those who wish to obtain or renew the E110 rating.

Courses:

  • Initial

The initial course is approved when included in the Part 135 operators Training Program. Additional take-offs and ladings in the aircraft are required to perform the full course.

Curriculum: 20h of ground school, 4h of Cockpit Procedures Training and 10h as Pilot Flying on Full Flight Simulator, already included the proficiency check.

  • Recurrent

The recurrent course is approved when included in the Part 135 operators Training Program. Additional take-offs and ladings in the aircraft are required to perform the full course.

Curriculum: 16h of ground school and 6h as Pilot Flying in Full Flight Simulator, already included in the proficiency check.

  • Upgrade to PIC

The upgrade to PIC course is approved when included in the Part 135 operators Training Program. Additional take-offs and ladings in the aircraft are required to perform the full course.

Curriculum: 16h of ground school and 6h as Pilot Flying in Full Flight Simulator, already included in the proficiency check.

If the pilot comes alone to attend to the course, EPA provides a Pilot Monitoring during the simulator training.
