INSTRUMENT LANDING SYSTEM – CATEGORY II

This type of procedure allows the instrument to approach the aircraft in the ILS profile with conditions to reach a minimum decision height not below 100 feet and with a visual range of the runway not less than 300 meters, as shown in AC 91-020 SRVSOP / ICAO-LIMA.

OBJECTIVE:

Upon completion of this training, the pilot will be able to carry out the verification flight, in accordance with the ANAC instructions, aiming to enable the execution of Category II precision approaches (ILS CAT II), in places where the weather conditions are at a minimum established for the execution of this procedure, gathering the necessary conditions for the analysis of its performance in the function of pilot in command or second in command, after receiving specific authorization issued by ANAC for this activity.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

The ILS CAT II Training is aimed at pilots who meet the requirements established in RBHA 91.189 and have the need to acquire training in a simulator to carry out approach procedures in this specific type of operation, as directed by IS 91-004B, of 12 / JUL / 17.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION / PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

Have obtained a private pilot’s license on an airplane, or higher; and To be qualified in the EMB-120 aircraft; EMB-145 or ATR 42/72; or yet; Be in training to obtain or update the qualification on the EMB-120 aircraft; EMB145 or ATR 42/72.

COURSE FORMAT:

Theoretical classes and training in Full Flight Simulator

DURATION:

8 hours of ground segment and 4 hours / pilot of flight segment, with 20 Pilot Flying approaches, divided into 2 days.

EPA CERTIFICATION:

Certification is given for each crew will receive the certificate of completion of the course
