EPA Training Center is currently the only Type Rating Training Organization – Part 142 in Latin America that operates the EMB-145 simulator. The Full Flight Simulator is qualified as level D and can be the basis for EMB-140, EMB-135 and EMB-135BJ (Legacy 600 and 650) training.

Objective: The courses offered by EPA of EMB-145 are for those who wish to obtain or renew the E145 rating.

Courses:

  • Initial

Requirements for Second in Command (SIC) and Pilot in Command: to hold PPL – Private Pilot License, MEL – Multi Engine License and IR – Instrument Rating; to be approved in ATP theoretical exam and IR theoretical exam in the last 12 months.

Curriculum: 64h of ground school, 12h of Cockpit Procedures Training and 16h as Pilot Flying on Full Flight Simulator, already included the proficiency check.

  • Recurrent

Curriculum: 16h of ground school and 8h as Pilot Flying in Full Flight Simulator, already included in the proficiency check.

  • Upgrade to PIC

Curriculum: 16h of ground school and 8h as Pilot Flying in Full Flight Simulator, already included in the proficiency check.

  • Differences for EMB-135BJ (Legacy 600 and 650)

Although the levels of differences between EMB-145 and EMB-135BJ are A / A / A (training / exam / currency), EPA offers a theoretical module of 1 hour to demonstrate the differences between the models.

If the pilot comes alone to attend to the course, EPA provides a Pilot Monitoring during the simulator training.
